National Domestic Violence Awareness Month
We stand with the millions who have experienced intimate partner violence, and we thank the first responders, service providers, and community members who work to educate themselves and others about violence and coercive control and who work hard to make sure that everyone can live in safety, with dignity and respect.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Each year in the United States, about 270,000 women get breast cancer and 42,000 women die from the disease. CDC’s National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program offers free or low-cost mammograms to women who have low incomes and are uninsured or underinsured.
